Vision Statement

There are billions of people living on this planet who live under tyranny of government and corporate elites who care only about themselves. Despite the efforts of millions of great people working to make the world a better place, it’s not getting better. It’s getting worse and it’s happening at an alarming rate.

I have decided I can no longer remain silent.

The rights of every human being to speak freely, defend themselves, and pursue happiness are being diminished every time one of us loses a small amount of freedom.

Many leading journalists, to use the term loosely, have stopped reporting facts and are now brainwashing us with a constant flow of lies and false narratives. Questions based on false pretenses are now normal and nobody seems to notice. They use their platform to pick a side and poke the other side in the eye all day every day. They only want to “win” and they don’t care how. They behave more like Internet trolls than journalists.

I’m not a professional journalist, but I see what passes for journalism these days and I can do better. I will research. I will learn. I will do my best to present undisputed facts from verified sources.

I will present my observations and my informed opinions. I’m relatively old and I have some pretty hard opinions in some areas based on my life’s experience. However, I will do my best to view issues from multiple points of view and be my own devil’s advocate. I will make mistakes. I will make corrections.

I may (will) sometimes go overboard a little or a lot and then come back to reality.

I will most certainly attempt to be funny at times and fail miserably.

I don’t know everything. Neither do you. This is a journey.

I hope this blog sparks meaningful conversation.
