I’d like to know why our government would spend money on this.
The article indicates the judicial reform in Albania was the issue at hand. The article also says that the Obama administration, “… quietly spent at least $9 million … in direct collusion with left-wing billionaire George Soros’ backing of a socialist government in Albania.” As a taxpayer, I’m not happy that tax money goes towards backing socialism. Is that why the money was spent “quietly”?
This smells like corruption.
I hear and read a lot about George Soros being someone who works against America and funds activities that foment division in our country.
America is a constitutional republic, but I believe that our last President was our first Socialist president, so this is not a surprise.
To learn more about what George Soros does and why we helped fund socialism in Albania instead of spending that money dealing with issues at home (homelessness, opioids, infrastructure, national security, etc), I just signed up for numerous Open Society Foundations newsletters.
